ELABORATION OF A PROJECT ON NURSING CARE IN THE CONTEXT OF URGENCY AND EMERGENCY FOR CRITICAL PATIENTS

Abstract

This experience report describes the process of constructing a research project developed in the Nursing Research course by 7th-semester students at UNIFADESA. The project addressed nursing care in urgent and emergency situations for critically ill patients, seeking to understand how the technical agility of this sector can be grounded in solid scientific evidence. The objective of this work is to report the academic experience during the elaboration of the proposal, detailing stages such as the delimitation of the problem, the bibliographic survey, and the methodological structuring. This is a descriptive report, with a qualitative approach, based on the experience of writing and textual revision carried out between February and April 2026. The results indicate that the main challenges involved delimiting an initially very broad topic, the careful selection of descriptors, and the need to align the objectives with methodological feasibility. It is concluded that the elaboration of the project strengthens the critical thinking and autonomy of the nursing student, consolidating the perception that scientific investigation is an inseparable pillar of safe and qualified professional practice.
