About the Journal
A Revista Amazônica de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (UNIFADESA) é um periódico acadêmico de acesso aberto, vinculado ao Centro Universitário para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Amazônia (UNIFADESA), com periodicidade semestral e sistema de publicação em fluxo contínuo.
A revista possui caráter interdisciplinar e tem como foco a divulgação de estudos científicos nas áreas de ciências, tecnologias e ensino, com ênfase no desenvolvimento sustentável da Amazônia Legal e em problemáticas contemporâneas de relevância regional, nacional e internacional.
Seu público-alvo inclui pesquisadores, docentes, discentes e profissionais de diversas áreas do conhecimento, promovendo a integração entre ensino, pesquisa e extensão.
A revista tem como missão promover a divulgação qualificada e a socialização do conhecimento científico, acadêmico e técnico, contribuindo para o fortalecimento da produção científica regional e para o desenvolvimento sustentável.
A publicação é gratuita, não havendo cobrança de taxas de submissão ou publicação, e aceita manuscritos nos idiomas português e inglês.

The FADESA Scientific Journal – Volume 2, Number 1 (2025) presents the thematic edition “Revolution in the Forest: Science, Innovation and Sustainability in the Legal Amazon,” reaffirming the institutional commitment to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge focused on the contemporary challenges of the Amazon region.
Inspired by the symbolic integration between nature and technology, the cover of this edition represents the forest as a living and intelligent organism, where science, innovation, and sustainability connect harmoniously. The visual elements allude to the advancement of scientific knowledge combined with environmental preservation, sustainable development, and the appreciation of technical and academic knowledge applied to the Amazonian reality.
The articles that make up this edition address interdisciplinary themes in the areas of health, environment, education, technological innovation, and sustainability, highlighting scientific practices committed to regional development, socio-environmental responsibility, and social transformation. The productions reflect applied research, scientific reviews, and extension experiences that engage with the challenges and potential of the Legal Amazon.
